Data Posting to MySQL Database as NULL

Postby WebScud » Sun Apr 26, 2009 2:51 pm

I'm having and issue where all my data is being sent/stored as NULL except for DATETIME. I have a hunch that I messed something up with the database being that this is the first one that I ever created from scratch. When the form is executed there are no MySQL errors returned. Any thoughts on what would cause this to all fields?

Greetings,

Tough to say actually, could be the database, or the forms SQL+ item may have a small issue. Of course to be more specific it might help to know a bit more about the SQL INSERT statement, as well as the parameters being passed in. In short, any additional info you can provide would be much appreciated!

Better late than never, haha. Believe it or not, the project that was having this issue got put on the back burner until recently. Let me dig up those files again and share the info.

Quick update on this--I neglected to post this strait away, but we now post NULL to the database if we get an empty value. However, this was after the original post of this thread, so it doesn't really affect us. However, I thought it would be helpful to point out!
